1. Delete the account yourself

1. Sign in to Sonoverse (the app or sonoverse.app) with the grown-up's email and password.
2. Open the grown-up dashboard and choose My Account.
3. Unlock the grown-up area with your Launch Code.
4. Under Delete this account, type DELETE and confirm.

You are signed out at once and the deletion request is saved. Recording collection stops immediately. Cleanup runs automatically and removes the account after any active subscription is cancelled and the account's stored files are confirmed deleted.

2. Ask us by email

If you cannot sign in, email hello@sonoverse.app from the grown-up's account email with the subject "Delete my Sonoverse account". We may ask a question to confirm you are the account holder; do not send a password, Launch Code or identity document in your first message. We confirm by email when the account has been removed.

3. What is deleted

The sign-in, the grown-up profile, every reader profile on the account, reading progress and results, saved answers, parent-made books and drafts, the reading-check recordings and word labels kept for the account, and the account's analytics identity. Exported copies of recordings, where any exist, receive a deletion notice and are removed after verification.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Payment, invoice and refund records are kept as required for accounting and tax, with the account link removed. Support emails are kept as needed to handle the request. Backups and logs are cleared on their own schedules. Deleting your account stops new recording collection immediately and starts cleanup of retained audio, teacher reviews, and associated copies. Cleanup retries until removal is verified. Exported and imported copies receive deletion notices and require operator verification. Deleting the account cancels an active subscription without issuing a refund; the seven-day refund right in the Terms of Use is unaffected.
