Choose a place to start

Use your reader's skills to find a good first step.

Your setup answers help Sonoverse choose a starting point. Think about words your child can read on their own.

A reading level is a group of skills. It is not a school grade. This starting point is also not a test for a reading disability.

Let your reader try the first activities. Some review is helpful. If the work keeps feeling too hard or too easy, choose a book with a better skill match. A grown-up can also contact support for help with the reading path.

Tell us the current level and the kinds of words that feel tricky. You do not need to send school records.
