Can I use books while teaching or tutoring?

Account access and book reuse are separate. A family plan does not provide a class roster or separate progress for a whole class.

For book text and pictures, read the Book Notice & License. Where CC BY-NC 4.0 applies, the use must meet its noncommercial terms.

Teaching does not always make a use noncommercial. Being paid also does not answer every license question by itself. The details of the use matter.
