The checker looks at words against the reference you choose. It can point out words with patterns beyond that level.
Some reference choices say Official. That label names an IMSE or UFLI reference used for comparison. It does not mean your story is an official book from that group.
Both groups share scope-and-sequence guides online at no cost. These guides list skills in teaching order.
A good checker result does not mean every child can read every word. It also does not mean IMSE or UFLI approved the text.
