What is a reading check?
Your child reads aloud and gets feedback on that try.
A reading check uses the microphone to hear an attempt. The recording and reading text go to a speech service for scoring. The app shows feedback from that result.
The check can help you spot words to practice. Noise, the microphone, and speech differences can affect the score. The app may mishear a word.
A reading check is not a school test or a diagnosis. Use it alongside what you notice when your child reads.
